The Monarch PK8 PTO supports the school with the help of teachers, staff and parents. We host community events to bring our Monarch family together, facilitate volunteer work, and fund raise to help provide the best possible learning environment for students.
ACTIVITIES
COMMUNITY BUILDING
Throughout the year we host several Monarch community events, including Monarch Movie Night, Fall Fest, and the Monarch Mingle.
VOLUNTEER WORK
Volunteering at school is one of the best ways to become involved with your child's education. Whether you volunteer weekly in the classroom or once for a special event, the time you donate is invaluable.
FUNDRAISING
Fundraising is one of the most important things the PTO does for Monarch PK8. We help provide funds for additional classroom instructors, extracurricular clubs, facility upgrades, classroom needs, technological equipment, and more!
MAKE A DONATION
The Mustang Fundraising Challenge is our largest school fundraiser. We ask for a donation of $100 per student - but more or less is absolutely appreciated! These funds go toward programs and projects that benefit all students on all grade levels.

Don’t forget to ask your employer about corporate matching. Many companies will match an employee’s donation to a charitable entity. Show them your letter/receipt (which will be emailed to you for IRS purposes) that lists Monarch PK8 and the amount of your donation. Most employers that participate will have a form for you to fill out, then will match your donation to the school! You may need our EIN number (non-profit status number). It’s: 83-0850958.
